Espar hydronic RV heating system explained
Gary interviews Steve Bayne from Espar, makers of hydronic RV heating systems. Espar's hydronic heating system heats hot water and antifreeze and uses that coolant to heat the motorhome through heat exchangers to create an even heat. RVers can use that same hot coolant to heat domestic water on-demand. So, virtually, you've eliminated your propane furnace and propane water heater.

RV water heater pilot won't stay on
An RVer writes to the RV Doc to says the pilot light on his Atwood 6-gallon water heater stays on only when the button is depressed on the control valve. He replaced the thermocouple, but that didn't help. Could the problem stem from the gas control valve itself and, if so, how does he replace it? Gary has some advice.
