Plugged RV sewer holding tank. What to do?

  1. Gary, you left out what I think is the "least worst" alternative. This only applies if there is an actual blockage preventing the flow.

    Purchase one of the clear drain output adapters with a hose input manufactured into it. [I got mine at Camping World.] Then try busting through the blockage with high pressure hose water. Alternatively, this would allow the use of a snake without ruining a sewer hose. It beats the alternative of ruining a hose and you'll be able to see if the blockage breakage is working.
